This scenery is for Trieste Airport, Ronchi Dei Legionari, Italy. Many improvements to the airport were made based upon Google Earth © imagery and online information for LIPQ.
These improvements include:
• Showing the runway 09/27 parallel taxiway as the closed runway 09R/27L. There is no closed runway “X”, but rather the runway numbering was painted over.
• Revamping/resizing paved ramp areas.
• Adding additional parking spots on the main and general aviation ramps.
• Adding a second fuel fueling trigger at the helipad next to the general aviation ramp.
• Adding buildings, hangars, fire station, support equipment, parking lots and a multi-floor parking structure, train and bus stations, and landscaping.
