L-1049A Lufthansa Pack

Payware Redwing L-1049G Super Constellation is needed.

Included are four different Lufthansa repaints. All with 4K textures and grey cockpits:

Lockheed L-1649A D-ALAN with the Starliner logo of 1958. c/n: 1040. Delivered in December 1957 to Lufthansa wearing this famous paint scheme, was converted into a freighter in early 1960, then handed over to World Airways in 1962 and taken back in January 1964. Was sold in 1967 to Air Venturers of Houston as N179AV until 1976 withdrawn from use. Stored at Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Sold to Aeroborne Enterprises with new N974R in 1980 used on freighter services. Changed 1986 to Maine Coast Airways Inc, Auburn, ME keeping N974R. Withdrawn from use. Stored at Sanford, Florida. On 19 October 2001 this Starliner had her last flight. A successful thirty-minute ferry flight from Sanford to Kermit Weeks Fantasy of Flight Museum in Polk, FL. Still there until today.

L-1649A Starliner D-ALUB c/n: 1034. Included are two repaints of 1959 and 1960. This Starliner was granted only a short life: Delivered in September 1957 to Lufthansa, it was converted into a freighter in early 1960, then handed over to World Airways in 1962 and taken back in January 1964. In 1960 this Starliner was painted in the “modern” Lufthansa paint scheme wearing classic logos on tail. After only eight years of service, it was shipped to Hartenholm near Hamburg/Germany as a restaurant, where it unfortunately fell victim to a fire in 1975, due of vandalism. Finally airframe was scrapped.

Shortnose L-1049G Super Constellation D-ALOF of 1959 with c/n 1049G-4642. Built 1956. Came to International Red Cross with 5T-TAG and was used in Biafra in 1968. This Super Constellation was utterly destroyed the 1st of July 1968 when it crashed short of the runway at Uli landing strip (Nigeria) in poor weather conditions. There were four fatalities. The airframe was written off.
